Top 10 things i love about Ezra ...

10. I love that Ezra is the "boyish" little boy ever but when Anna Claire asks him to play tea party he goes right along with it. Priceless.


9. I like the fact that Ezra thinks he is a big boy even though in his words it is "me a big boy, mama".

8. I love Ezra because he is always himself. Never the need to try to make anyone laugh.. he does that naturally.

7. Ezra is such a laid back little boy. I ask him to help pick up.. he does it. Never gives me fits... well, almost never.

6. I think it is hilarious that Ezra had rather sleep than anything. He is not one to sit up miserable...he knows where his bed is and i have caught him slipping in his bed and falling asleep at the most inconvenient times.

5. I love that Ezra is not scared of a thing. He is not afraid of the dark or monsters or ANYTHING!

4. I love that he dreams big.. he wants to be Spiderman when he grows up.

3. I adore the fact that Ezra wants to be just like his daddy. He amazingly has his same knacks already... he can fix things that i can't and that is awesome.

2. His independence.. Ezra is so independent it is ridiculous. I am not "allowed" to help him do anything!

1. Because Ezra is the sweetest little boy ever. He has a heart of gold! He would do anything for anyone to make them happy.

Welcome Home!!!!!!

Well, today is the day i have been waiting for months to see... Lindsay is coming home!!!!!!!!! i will be so happy to see her yet i felt like she never left. That is what is special about life long friendships.. you can always pick up right where you left off. We have talked almost everyday and i feel like she has just been up the road for a year! It is still not real to me that she is on the other side of the world!!!!!!!!! She has been the greatest friend a friend could ever ask for. I have put a lot of trust in her and she is the best! We grew up together loving each other since kindergarten. I remember coming home and telling mom that i had a new friend. It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about that moment because i had no idea what a strong bond we would soon have. I feel like Lindsay could always depend on me.. heck, she had to to get through school... i remember once in 5th grade Ms. Scott was our teacher and Lindsay was scared of her. Lindsay needed help on a social studies problem she couldn't find the answer to so she whispered as we were in quiet time supposed to be working "Hey, Allie, go ask Ms. Scott #7" and I said "Why"? and she said "Because you are my best friend and i am scared of her". HAHA! That is Lindsay...always scared of the smallest things. We were so close I practically lived with her my whole school life but who never ever spent the night one night with me because she always called her mom at 1am? you got it, the scaredy cat. Now my scaredy cat grew up.. she turned into a beautiful young lady who I am so proud of. She did venture away from home which surprised the heck out of me...she talked about moving in with a friend in McKenzie while in college and i though "hmmmm, that will NEVER happen". Well, I was right on that one.. she never did because her heart told her not to. She married a terrific guy that loves her more than life and he moved her to Germany where they are stationed at Ramstein Airforce Base. yeah, you heard me right. She moved the GERMANY!!!!!!!! Never in zillion years would i have thought Lindsay would be the one to be up for an adventure but she has proved me wrong. Just say a few prayers that the flight goes OK . I will be there to pick her up along with her parents and brother and i cannot wait! I didn't sleep a wink last night! Merry Christmas everyone!

Anna Claire

Here are some things i love about my children..
let's start out with Anna Claire.. the princess diva..

1. i love the way anna thinks i am the most beautiful person in the world. she compares me to Cinderella and that is BIG!

2. i like the fact that Anna is her own child...she could care less what everyone else is doing...she wants to do what she wants to do..

3. i love that Anna always wants to sleep with Ezra to "protect him" even though i know she wants protection from him! She couldn't hurt a fly!

4. One of my favorite things about Anna Claire is that she has lots of variety in her life. She is the prissiest girl on the planet one minute and playing with frogs, ladybugs and anything else slimey or crawly the next minute. She has even been known to be in her princess dress while hiding frogs in her purse!

5. I like it that Anna Claire had rather hear her Bible stories each night than any other stories on Earth. We also make up princess stories about well known princess' although her favorite princess in "Princess Madelyn".

6. I love the fact that Anna Claire wants to be called a new name each day.. one day it might be Lucy, the next it is Bella Rose ;) i rarely call her by her given name!

7. I love the fact that i can carry on a conversation with Anna like i would my best friend! She teaches ME vocabulary at times ;)

8. I adore Anna Claire for her love for others. She is a very sweet spitited child.

9. I like when Anna asks me hard questions.. i admire that she is 4 and can think up such hard questions. She is INTRIGUED by Heaven.

10. i love that Anna Claire is my daughter.. i so proud of her!

I fully understand that Jesus is wonderful and I deeply love him please do not misunderstand me. It does bother me, however, that lots of sermons, spiritual notes, etc are completely drawn to Jesus and doesn't hardly utter the name of God. Without Him there is nothing and not enough people acknowledge him enough. Praise God like most praise Jesus and we would all be better Christians. I didn't know the difference between God and Jesus until i was about 8 or 9.. not that i wasn't taught the difference but everywhere i went i heard Jesus' name. Is is perhaps because Jesus walked on Earth and is more ''real" to us?Can we relate more with Jesus? I understand this but we need to talk more about God! Please praise God today! He is the one who put your feet on the floor this morning. Let's all thank God tomorrow morning as we wake up before we do anything else.

My Hero

I am starting a blog full of updates of my wonderful family. Here i will post pictures and tell stories, jokes and whatever else hits me but i want to start this blog off with a tribute to my Hero, Madelyn Beamon who has a birthday coming up December 17,2008. She will be sharing this birthday with Jesus...What a treat! If i died tomorrow, Madelyn would be the first person i would want to see besides Jesus and God. She had such a sweet spirit i cannot describe her in words to do her justice. Happy Birthday Madelyn.. we are letting go lots of pink balloons for your special 7th birthday! Wonder how many angels she is teaching her southern slag to? The St. Jude marathon was saturday and even though i could not attend, I proudly wore my "team madelyn" shirt! Check out stjude.org and look at the bottom of the pictures of the marathon.. team madelyn is featured on picture 17 and 26!!!!!!!! Team Madelyn raised 29,000 and came in 8th place in contributions!
